Anand Advani

Concentration: Applied Math-CS

Anand grew up in Northern Virginia and is currently a senior at Brown University studying applied mathematics and CS. Some of Anand's research interests are mechanistic interpretability for LLMs, statistical learning theory, and computational cognitive neuroscience. Anand also enjoys board games, learning about etymology, and drinking boba.

Jiayi Wu

Concentration: Mathematics and Computer Science

Jiayi studies Math and CS at Brown. Her research lies in the formal and empirical infrastructure for trustworthy machine learning, spanning neurosymbolic reasoning, formal theorem proving, and principled evaluation and auditing of AI systems. She's also passionate about AI governance, public-interest technology, and responsible computing.

Joanne Ding

Concentration: Math-CS

Joanne is currently a sophomore concentrating in Math-CS. Besides discussing AI ethics, she also enjoys playing the flute, traveling, and exploring Providence.

Summer Tullai

Concentration: Economics and IAPA

Passionate about the intersection of AI ethics and public policy, Summer loves bringing her perspective as a non-CS student to the organization. Through club events and research projects, she’s explored Brown’s SRC program, and learned about emerging technologies and the more technical side of AI.
